Reiki was developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui.
Reiki (pronounced Ray-key) from the Japanese words Rei and Ki meaning spiritually guided life energy (commonly known as Universal Life Energy, an energy which animates us all and is found all around us).
Reiki is a form of spiritual healing using "universal life energy" channelled through the practitioner to the recipient.
Holy Fire Reiki is a new form of Reiki that was introduced about three years ago by the ICRT (The International Center for Reiki Training). It is both powerful and gentle and provides purification, healing, empowerment and guidance.
Reiki can be used to holistically support the recipient through many aspects of their lives, such as reducing stress; relieving pain - headaches, back aches, PMT etc; as well as clearing toxins; balancing energies; balancing organs and glands.
